New Scam in Thurso

Hi all. I went to visit my Mum today and thankfully she has a carer and did not get hold of this herself as she would have fallen for it. A card was put through her door saying "Give me a call please 07809406831 John". I couldn't think of a John that she knew and decided to phone the number to find out who it was. It was a window and door sales pitch. My Mum is vulnerable and could well have been talked into buying new doors/windows that she didn't need. Please tell anyone you think may be vulnerable not to waste their money calling the number.

I'm hearing from other people that one of the people delivering these cards was also taking an unhealthy interest in their dogs and some people found paint marks on their walls after the visit. :(
