Thurso post office

Does anyone know if the Thurso post office is open whilst the Coop is is being refurbished? I asked one of the counter assistants in the post office last week and they didn’t know. Apparently the Coop manager has said it will be open but the post office manager said it won’t be open.

It was closed before 1000 morning as they had no power. The PO staff seemed surprised that there was no power - I expect its down to the refurbishment as the rest of the co-op had power. Rather frustrating when you need to send a parcel urgently.

I was quicker going to Wick one person serving then the computer crashed !!
