View Full Version : Tourist board
I have heard from some friends that when they phoned the tourist board to find out what was happening in the wick area they got a message saying that "This number does not recieve incoming calls"!
Has anyone else had any problems like this?
hi
the tourist info office in wick closed several years ago.it is now an un-manned area with a free phone for making bookings etc.it is in the mcallans clothes shop in high street and although the staff are untrained in tourism they will help as much as they can.the office in thurso is still there.

'bout time someone got off their derriere and started helping promote the area. Every week there seems to be another feature article banging on about the many places of interest in the highlands (especially the insurgence of music festivals in the region). Thing is, the always seem to miss out Caithness. Can't think why.
