Been on to the Arnold Clark website ( others dealers are available) and the Scottish ones are dearer . AC don't do a garage to garage delivery . It seems that all garages give you the auction price for your trade in ,which is a total rip off . They should give a trade in price ,which should be 10% higher . Now they want their cake and eat it and a huge bite out of yours .

Supply and demand, it's all market driven and any dealer will push to get the max for his product.
much like round these parts where second hand vehicles on private sale are vastly overpriced. It takes a minute to check the proper and realistic value of any vehicle online. One the other week on Caithness Wheels was up for £3k despite the Glass guide valuing it at £1.7k. A lot of sellers round here pluck figures from their butt when it comes to pricing their junk but heaven forbid when they want to buy and your price is always way too much.....

If buying 2nd hand from Arnold Clark, take internet phone and look up webuyanycar price for the vehicle you are looking at. play them at there own game
If buyers are handing the money over, it's not too dear.
