Funding from Spirit of Caithness through Foundation Scotland has allowed me to offer two workshops in Wick to give the opportunity to learn Ballroom Jive and Foxtrot/Quickstep. This is a 2 session workshop day will get you started in the dances, with enough time to learn a basic routine. The Jive routine will include some basic kicks and flicks with some fun moves for you to practice. The Foxtrot is quite a technical dance, so the second workshop will cover a nice simple 5 part routine which will take you round the floor without any problem. I hope that we will then have time to learn enough basics in Quickstep with a nice wee turn which will be easy to use on the dance floor. The date is the 27th February with times and place to be confirmed.
