Durness Street, Thurso Caithness

My GGG-Grandmother (Catherine Sutherland) died in 1891. Her death certificate states the location she died as Durness Street, Thurso with no street number. Does anyone now if there was a hospital on Durness Street in 1891? I can't find any family member living on Durness Street at this time. Just trying to find out a little more about my family, if she was living there or in a hospital.

There was no hospital in Durness Street, so your ancestor died in her home. My great grandfather, James Durran, a master shoemaker, and his family lived in Durness Street from 1871 to 1900. My grandfather was born there in 1870. There was no house number indicated on the census returns.
