View Full Version : Advice needed on delivery of heavy item from (Leicester to Thurso)
I have a new oven which I bought off ebay and im trying to find a delivery service that will get it up here without charging a small fortune. It weighs over the 30kg cut off, weighing 33kg. Has anyone shipped large items up before? Advice greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!!! :Razz
Try McAdie and Reeve or Littlejohn Removals from Orkney. They are up and down the country most weeks. Colin Mackenzie removals might be worth a try.

I use www.shiply.com or www.uship.com
It is so much cheaper than using regular carriers as people have to bid for the job and often people are taking a lot of items at once. I found out about it from a friend and Uship is also on Shipping Wars on one of the Sky Channels.
Hope that helps.
lots of bad reports on them when things go wrong.
moneysavingexpert and consumeractiongroup are full of them
