We've had a no-name storm overnight with 70+ mm rain and strong winds. It's heading north east to the islands of Cape Breton and Newfoundland, and we will thoughtfully send it on to you - no need to thank us, we are always helpful.
Named storms usually start in the mid-Atlantic and then blast up the eastern seaboard. This one started (?) in the Pacific around Baja, so we "can't" give it a name.
Keep your chins up.
