View Full Version : Undiscovered tribes
Are undiscovered tribes in remote areas of the world better off making contact with the rest of humanity or better alone?

One part of me says Yes another says No.
Wherever they are they've managed to get along just fine without interference from the rest of the world. They may have a leader of some sort but not based on political clout, who you know, your wealth/capitalist ideals or religious crap, leave them to it instead of going in there with the typical Western 'we know better' bullshit. Mankind managed to get by just fine until politicians, lawyers and bankers came along. For all our modern way of life with great inventions and medicines, we truly have a screwed up society, have raped and plundered Earth and poisoned it into the bargain. Leave them be, they're better off without our 'knowledge'.
Who are we to say what would be best for them, just because we have some romanticised vision of a primitive lifestyle it doesn't mean that is what they want given the choice.
Make contact, but don't try & foist our ways & beliefs on them, let them choose.

Would these undiscovered tribes include the Unbiased Media in Scotland tribe? Time for them to make contact with the rest of humanity for sure.

Is the picture in the link of the tribe in question, if it is, he's sporting a very Western looking bow and arrow.
