I would be interested if you can enlighten me. It was fairly shifting along and coming towards the coast, was it heading for Scrabster?

Try having a look at www.shipais.com it shows all the shipping currently and historically around the UK. I'd guess its the Innovation bound for Emeshaven...

Thank you so much XR2.

What an excellent link you gave, and I am sure it was the Innovation.

Everytime I see a vessel from now on I will be dashing into the house to go on shipais.com! I'll never get any work done.

Cheers.

one handed braille

No, I can manage with one finger.

I've always been fascinated with boats and ships. When I was knee-high to a grasshopper I used to get taken out by the fishermen at Robin Hood's Bay. They once gave me a plaice to take home for my Grandma. I used to dig out a boat shape in the sand and 'row' all around an imaginery world! I've never really stopped travelling in my mind and all the ships that go past here send meoff on all sorts of journeys. Anyways, you make me laugh mi16.

For more ship geekery there is the Shipfinder App (http://my.pinkfroot.com/page/ship-finder-iphone) for Smartphones, so you don't need to run back to yer hoose to see which boat it is. Also online at http://shipfinder.co/

For airyplanes there is Planefinder (http://my.pinkfroot.com/page/plane-finder-iphone) online avgeekery here: http://planefinder.net/

For truckgeekery there is the Stobart Finder (http://my.pinkfroot.com/page/stobart-finder) (Dunno if D Stevens of Wick want an APP??)

Lots more Apps from Pinkfroot (http://my.pinkfroot.com/page/aviation-shipping-apps)

And if you want to seriously track stuff, you can get yer own kit and use Shipplotter (http://www.coaa.co.uk/shipplotter.htm) and Planeplotter (http://www.coaa.co.uk/planeplotter.htm)
