There are actually human figure shaped pylons in use but the problem is that having just two legs, they are not at all stable if made to proportion of the human body so they had to be guy line rigged to the ground to hold them up.

I think the old saying is "you cant polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter". I could live with those better than the other iron monsters, but I suspect they would probably cost three times as much.
