Looking for information on George Bruce and Elizabeth Macgregor.
George was born c1828 and Elizabeth c1838. They married in Achalone,Halkirk
in 1863. George died in 1887 in Mybster.
They had 6 children:
Catherine 1863, John 1865,Marjory 1867,Janet 1870,David 1872 and Margaret 1874,all born in Halkirk.
Marjory married Alexander Mackay in 1904 in Durness.Marjory died in 1948 in Bunahoun,Halladale. They had one daughter,Johan.

Found the following:
George's parents were David Bruce and Catherine Sutherland. David was born in Latheron. He is in the 1871 census in Halkirk ,a widower, living with George and his family.
George was born in Halkirk as was his wife Elizabeth Macgregor.
