Recycling?!

And second of all, does anyone know where i can recycle my pc and monitor? i dont wanna put it straight to the dumps as it would be a total waste! any help gratefully appreciated!.

I believe that if you put it into the correct skip at the recycling centres in either Thurso (Janetstown) or Wick (near airport) then monitors are actually recycled not just scrapped.

I'm sure that there will be info on this site somewhere that gives you opening times etc but I haven't got time to check just now.

dont think that its recycled at the skips in wick . i was up there last week dumping some junk and all the old pc,s are just lying outsides in a skip. dont think that computer,s and water mix to well together though.?
