Not at home for Xmas or New Year after court ban
A WICK man won't spending Christmas in the family home.
Thomas McTeir, 43, chose not to plead, meantime, to a charge of causing a disturbance outside it, when he appeared from custody at the town's sheriff court today.
The charge alleges that McTeir behaved in a threatening our abusive behaviour outside the communal entrance to his home at 14 Vansittart Street, Wick, on Monday, shouted and swore, demanded entry, constantly rang the door buzzer and kicked and banged the door.
McTeir was granted bail to a different address and banned from contacting Kim McTeir and entering Vansittart Street.
He is expected to tender a plea when he returns to court on January 10 after further consultation with his solicitor, Ken Ferguson.
