I have Never Ever understood the Hype about Lowry's Paintings. To me they are just Childish and look like a 5 year old has done the painting. Personally I would not give 890 pence for this Painting, let alone £890,000.

No doubt that everyone will disagree with me and will say it is a wonderful painting but I can not see it at all.

Well it wasnt me what bought it:( im hoping it will appear in my 50th birthday present pile in January. I love this picture as I think I might have mentioned before ;)

I have not a lot of interest in art, but Lowry is one artist that I find stimulating.
