What bird?

I live in Thrumster and I've seen two of these in the past few days scavenging under the bird feeder. Had a look on the RSPB identifier, which keeps telling me it's a blackbird. It's the same size and general shape but a drab brown all over - feathers, beak, legs - looks as if it's been sprayed that drab brown. Any ideas?
