Our car keys have been lost out at REiss somewhere between the field at the back of the beach and the beach itself (going toward ACkergill ) . I have been quoted £165 to get a replacement key from the manufacturer . Does anyone know of a cheaper way to get a replacement. The car is a SEat.

There are several sites on the web that advertise replacement keys for a SEAT who also say that they charge a fraction of what a dealer will. Here is a selection :-

If you search you will find even more than these three.

Timpsons in Inverness can cut & program car keys, just phone ahead as they might have to order the blank in.

Can we presume you have been in touch with the Police Station to see if they have been handed in? Also try at the Golf Club as they may have been handed in there. I know that some people don't always hand found property in to the Police station and some people don't think about trying there. Best of luck; must be very frustrating......

might sound silly, but if you have a spare set check your boot! I lost mine at the beach, only to find them in the boot weeks later as I had dropped them letting the dog out x
