:-$ Having clicked on the link to the scotsman from the front page of .org, i found the comments interesting. Same debate that has been on here before, however in this case the majority however seem against.:-$

Being a resident of Tain I would welcome any supermarket who can challenge the prices of the Co-op. I can't see what all the fuss is about local traders going out of business. As long the community get cheaper prices, I'm sure the majority will be welcoming these supermarkets coming locally. We've been ripped off by local stores and the Co-op for years[evil] and it's about time we had a chance to buy groceries cheaply - in Tain itself, not Dingwall or Inverness, etc!
