My gt gt aunt Jane Munro m. George Miller, Wick, 1880.
He was from Olrig - his parents were Alexander Miller, master mason, and Johan Stephen.
1881 George & Jane at Feuars Houses, Castletown.
1887 Shore Road, Wick.
1888 Langley Park, Wick.
1891 8 Argyle Square, Wick.
There were 4 children that I know of, George (died age 8), Marjorie, John & Johan. Jane's parents, Robert & Marjory Munro, were living with them at the above addresses until their deaths in 1889/91.
I've not been able to locate any of these Millers anywhere in Scotland in 1901, and wonder if anyone knows anything of the family or where they went to?
I'm also curious as to where Langley Bank was as I can't find it on the map.
Any info very welcome as always. :)
