The Dark Water

The popcorn was tumble drying in ma mooth
To the picture that was playing in front of me
Richard Dreyfus in his wet suit
Looking at something we couldnae see

The camera's angle panned around
Now we could see a big hole in a boat
Auld Speilberg was playing wi ma mind
Ma heart was in ma throat

For a moment is was like nothin was gonnae happen
But for suspense to succeed
Well this time it was a masterstroke
When oot the hole popped a heid

The screams and popcorn were in the air
On the screen the water was dark
But that memory of that heid remains
Even if he was killed by a plastic shark
