Searching for any links at all to the above mentioned. From what I have found
William Bruce born c. 1793 Halkirk, Caithness (this came from census info).
Isabella McPherson born. 1810 Latheron, Caithness. It appears they married in 1830 in Latheron. Children I have found from the marriage are Robert 1830, Janet 1832, Esther 1836 and George 1846. 1861 Census shows that William Bruce and his son George Bruce were both blacksmiths in Latheron. On the 1861 census Esther, George and Robert were still living at home with their parents.
William Bruce and Isabella McPherson would have been my 3X Great Grandparents.
Any information on the family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
