Catherine Wheir b. 20 June 1806, daughter of John Wheir b. 1766 and Jean Cormack b. 1771, and residing at Wathegur in the 1841 census falls off the edge of my genealogical map after that. She is listed as "Cuthr" in that census. Does anyone have any idea what happened to her? Did she marry? Did she die? I have been unable to learn anything. She is not mentioned as such in any of the old letters that I have but "Catherine" is such a common name in my family that it could be that I have mistaken "Aunt Catherine" in some of them for someone else. Her older sister Christian "Aunt Kirsty" is mentioned in the letters.
I would appreciate any information anyone may be able to help me with.
