The HND Equine Students of the North Highland College, Thurso Campus are organising an event to take place at Dale Farm, Halkirk, the main attraction being that of the Pitlochry Stunt Team called Riders of the Storm. There will be two shows, consisting of 25 minutes each (Details below), with many other attractions on the day, including a Spit Roast, Archery, Music and many more! Tickets are now available to buy from the North Highland College Reception in Thurso, and after Christmas, another box should also be placed in the Wick Campus also. There are a limited amount of tickets available, so get them before they sell!
As well as the show, there will be the oppurtunity to grab yourself a lesson with the Riders of the Storm on the following day (Sunday 3rd). There will be a Silent Auction for the chance of a Private lesson with the Stunt Team, and we will also be selling 12 tickets for a group lesson with the Stunt Team. These will all be sold on the day.
All the proceeds from the show will go to The Grass Sickness Fund, which is working to find out what causes, and the cure for this potentially fatal illness in horses. It will also be going to Clic Sargeant, a charity which works to look after children with Cancer, and offer support for their families.
