There is a rumour that some of them are 'mail' Monday til Saturday and 'fe-mail' on Sundays [lol]
I remember back in the 60's and 70's we posties delivered on Christmas day and worked on New years day, but that was back in the dark old days, why should they deliver on a Sunday now?
They deliver when they get around to it... or when there is enough to warrent getting out of the van and posting it...
From experience...
Angel...
Our posties in Lybster are brilliant, can't thank them enough for their hard work in all weathers and cheerful faces.
posties work hard at xmas (well most of them) we all need a day of
even the slow ones lol

I keep reading the thread title as 'Caithness Pasties', thought I was getting a new recipe to try out dohhhhh
Someone has suggested that posties work a Sunday? I smell a strike in the air.
