Satellite broadband

Hi, does anyone have a satellite broadband setup? Any feedback whether good or bad appreciated.

I was with AVC Broadband. It was really expensive but it was pretty good.

After that I was with Avanti through the Scottish Government initiative and they were ok but it's not very fast and the upload speed kept on disappearing. It's now done through QSat and is much the same. It's basically fairly slow unless you are prepared to pay through the nose. It's better than nothing but I wouldn't recommend it. I find it impossible to do large software updates as the files are always corrupted because of satellite latency.
