Titchie says he was ready to call it a day
WICK Academy assistant Richard Hughes has said he was ready to call it a day after discovered that Barry Wilson had been appointed as manager, according to the Press and Journal today.
Hughes only found out about the appointment before the start of the north cup final against Nairn County.
He felt he should have been asked if he was interested in the job.
However, Wilson persuaded him to remain, as his assistant and Hughes is looking forward to working with him.
