halloween help please

Hi as we all know it is halloween on wednesday, i remember when i was little though if halloween is on a week day we would have it on the weekend instead, So does anyone know what they do these days? i would like to take my daughter out a few doors, not for long though, but not sure if i do this on the wednesday or the weekend? can anyone help thanks

It would be the Wednesday. Only time it changes is if it lands on a Sunday the kids go out the night before on the Saturday.
