It doesn't, I doubt they would say it is either, the point being, were deluged with the stuff.

The amount of water we have is not the problem. The cost of treating and pumping the stuff to our taps and toilets is the concern.

Obviously these people complaining must be happy with untreated water coming to them? All I can surmise.

I thought the South of England is now prone to drought and the strategy is to pump water south, if that is the case then water is more precious than we previously thought.

Actually I was on a walk today and I stumbled upon a disused house and there was a tap left running so I reported it to Scottish water then I thought it a big coincidence to be reading a thread about water wastage just 10 minutes later. It is wastage like this that really annoys me, it could have been running for 20 years.

Just the point if all leaks and mains repaired/replaced there would be no problem, as for exporting it there is plenty in Kielder for the north east can't vouch for the far south but it looks as if your climate nonsense is taking care of that with forthcoming floods for years due, all they need is to build the containing traps/reservoirs, but to much common sense required for that to happen.

Maybe if we all had to walk for miles to get water, as people in some countries do, we wouldnt complain so much about turning on the tap and getting clean fresh water 99.9 % of the time. The expense of cleaning water is footed by all of us in the council tax bill.

Actually climate Change is not nonsense, and nobody has disproved it, I so wish someone would. In fact the evidence is increasing all the time that fossil fuels are causing global temmperature rise.

They probably want to sell the water to London next year so they want there to be as much of it as possible.
