This part of the show will be open to any rodent entry, please ensure that you bring them in a very secure cage, preferably a lidded plastic tank such as pets at home sell, it is easier to see them in a clear plastic tank than in cages and rota-stack type cages. We dot not provide the penning for them so please do not bring along a rodent in a cardboard box.
Entry £1.50 per rodent.
Mouse, Hamster, Rat, Gerbil etc.
Please ensure they either have water or some sliced veg ie apple or carrot which will give them fluid.

Any type of bird, other than birds of prey may be entered in this section. Judge Mr D. Sinclair. Please ensure your bird is in a Clean suitable cage for the day. Entry £1.50 per bird.
All animals must have a water bottle.

Well the Show was a brilliant success. Medals and awards and ribbons and certificates being awarded here there and everywhere it was fun and enlightening the new venue at the CastleTown Drill was bigger with separate kitchens. Couldn't praise the organisers more in the variety of show Rabbits, Guineas, Cockerels, Pigeons, budgies, Fitches, and loads of other colourful birds I have never seen before all tiny and beautiful and mice and hamsters all professionally judged all in categories of professional breeders, open judging, pets if you have any of these animals you never know until you enter :O)
Forgot it was on, with everything happening......
Was meaning to go for a look.
But sure Cheedar would have won a prize for the most lovable/trusting (but def not for the most pretty after his accident as he wont recover his fur ) in the hamster cat!
