:( The latest scam on ATM cash machines involves what looks like a little strip light attached above the keypad, although it looks like the light is not working.
This is in fact a scanner, which reads your pin number.
When you use the machine, it will hold your card, and when you leave, someone will appear and retrieve your card, remove the scanner with your pin number and then be able to use YOUR card.
If you see any items attached to a cash machine, please do not use the machine. Report the incident to the Police and let them deal with the matter
Now that you are aware of the dangers, hopefully you will not fall victim to this sort of crime. [evil]

There are hundreds of web sites with details about card scams but remeberthere are lots of hoax warnings as well out there. But it definitely pays to be wary of cash machines as folk do lose money by theft etc.
