2 dogs - labrador (10) & labradoodle (6 months), 3 cats (16, 2 @ 8) and a 10 year old goldfish!
wow thats an oooold goldfish, you must be doing something right :)
2 dogs, A Jackrussel terrier and a Toy poodle (Mother-in-law`s) and the next-door neighbours Cat seems to prefer to live with us? But, cats were always different
My dogs are a strange mix I have a 7 yr old boxer and an unknown age whippet as I rescued her but I have had her 8 years and she seemed old when I got her so I reckon at least 12 or 13.
I have a cross doberman lab greyhound called jack. He is two and lovely.
So lin you have an incredibly loyal, laid back, lazy guard dog sounds lovely :)
I have a chocolate lab (bitch) 3 years old. Absolutly loves rolling in dead seals or birds.

I have two west highland terriers, one older male and a 6 month old female.
I have one 'nearly house-trained' partner. May not be officially classed as a pet but he definately has an animal side; barks when he doesn't get his own way, needs regular feeding, watering and walking, must be kept on a tight leash, definately needs muzzle, and frequently in the dog house.
I have a four year old Sheltie called Benjy and four cats who are Rusty (12), Charly (not sure but think about 13) , Tiggy (10) and Suzy (5)
They are a great little family and the lights of my life.
All the cats were all waifs and strays at one time. Benjy is the only one who has been pampered since day one!

had fish for years ..but just bought my daughter a hamster a couple of days ago for her birthday but seem to be very hard to catch but i'm just hoping it'll get used to her soon and come to her when she opens the cage...i know mine used to when i was her age.
She called her Molly:D
unicorn your so right hes loyal, laid back, and lazy but hes frightened of the slightest thing, so guard dog no.
I have got 2 cats and 4 rabbits just now.
Just my spoilt dog and 2 fish.
Just a spoilt dog too and that's enough! I love him to bits really; he's a spaniel, daft as a brush, loves surfing in Thurso bay and chasing the birds there. He hasn't cottoned on that in two and a half years he has not caught one yet! Oh to be so optimistic!
I have 2 dogs - German short haired pointer (8) & Jack russell (7 months)
6 cats and 7 shetland ponies.
7 shetland ponies yowza and I complain about cleaning up after the 2 dogs in the garden ewwwwww
dont have a pet yet but my youngest is saving up for goldfish. i would like a dog but hubby isnt keen.
Dogs are great if you have the time for them but if I was getting a first larger pet a cat is always good as they are not as time consuming as dogs. But everyone likes different things and that is why there are such a vast variety of pets around.
Erm a horse,2 miniture shetlands, 2 kittens (my mum kept my 2 cats) and at mums house have 3 sheep and erm too many chickens to count. and did have ducks but they decided to go live in the neigbours pond it was better than ours!
I have a West Highland Terrier, a cat, a rabbit, a guinea pig and 2 budgies. I am an absoloute softy when it comes to animals.
i have 4 dogs, 4 cats,2 cockatiels,2 budgies,6 snakes,9 ferrets,17 rats,oh and another cat who prefers my house to her own. this is my little family.

Sorry to sound daft, but gerbils and chinchilla's??? What are they exactly?
Obviously not exactly a common pet here in Australia.
We have 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks. A girl 2 & 1/2 yrs old called Lola, and a boy about 3yrs called Kruger, named after Kruger Nation Park is South Africa.

She can do a bit of shouting at time....especially when she wants out among the hens.(Miss Clifford cannot fly.) At the moment she is hooked on X Factor and likes to try and sing -a -long. She is out by day and in at night, so she isn't really noisy, probably less than most creatures. :Razz
