He didn't talk about the old firm or sectarianism enough
He didn't throw veiled insults at the SNP

Isn't he facing criticism from anti-windies for being publicly anti-wind, but at the same time planning to install windfarms on his (or his Mam's) land?

He wasn't bad at doing the weather, but he doesn't have the appeal of Cat Cubie....
