The Northern Budo Alliance Bushi Seminar hosted by KSD Martial Arts at The Assembly Rooms Wick took place on Saturday 21st April and was well attended by 70 martial artists from the North of Scotland and beyond.
The instructors on the day were Soke Gunter Bauer, 10th Dan Hapkido (Grand Master), Soke Mark Kemp, 10th Dan Kempo JuJitsu (Grand Master), Kyoshi Neil Hourston, 7th Dan Kempo Jujitsu (Master) and Sabumnim Vince Tait, 5th Dan Kong Soo Do (Master).
It was an honour to have brought two Grand Masters to Caithness, making this the best attended NBA event to date. KSD Martial Arts welcomed students from Scottish Kempo Academy, Scottish Fighting Arts Society, and Bass Korean Martial Arts School to name just a few.
On the Friday evening the two Grand Masters attended the KSD Martial Arts class in Castletown and trained for 2 hours with the adult and junior students, photos can be seen on our Facebook page.
We are also pleased to announce that after a weekend of being assessed by Soke Gunter Bauer and Soke Mark Kemp Subumnim Vince Tait was promoted to 5th Dan Master in Kong Soo Do.
