View Full Version : Alternative heating source
Possibly renovating an old building and I'm enthusiastic about more sustainable/eco friendly heating for a large open building. Anyone any comments or recommendations regarding ground source or air exchange type systems. Running costs, efficiency etc?
I'd go GSHP with solar panels to provide power for the pump. Air source can be a bit probelmatic when the outside temp gets very low.

If you're close to wick then try and catch a bunch of that stuff Rob Gibson spouts. Makes great fuel when you dry it out!
