Anyone know of any classes for sign language that run in Caithness?

There are different types of sign language.
The ones I know are baby signing, bsl and makaton, it would depend on what you want it for as to who you would need to contact.

I'd be interested in BSL Stage 1 lessons. I did pass it but that was about 20 years ago and I don't think I can remember much!

Hi, it's BSL I am interested in. Have done the basics but would like to gain a qualification. I'll let you know if I find a course anywhere Tilly Teckel!

Try Karen Paul at North Highland College. Did a BSL sign language course with her last year. Fantastic, and good fun too. She makes it very enjoyable.
Contact Caithness Deaf Care opposite laundrette in Thurso Deirdre or Karen should be able to help. Sorry I don't have phone number to hand as I am away just now but both are very helpful :D
Hi you can contact to Highland Deaf Communication Project Jenny Liddell or Alexia Greig on 01643 248100 for more info and put your name down on the list. :D
