View Full Version : Inverness B and B
I have to stay in Inverness one night next week, can you recommend anywhere? the royal highland hotel has a good offer on for 2 sharing, and ramada Jarvis hotel is offering a room for 3 people room only for £68, but i need a single room. Any suggestions please? http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_11_1.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZN)

The Glencairn or Ardross, Ardross Street.
Raigmore Motel - just along from & opposite the hospital. £45 for single room & full breakfast.
Incidentally - they do special rates for guests who are visiting relatives etc. in Raigmore - so well worth enquiring about these.
Oakvilla in Harrowden road, I stayed there for 6 months whilst working down there. Really nice house, people, food etc etc. Think its about £25 a night now and only 5 minute walk from the street.
Phone Margo on 01463237182.
I stayed at the Doric House B&B this summer, both going and returning from holiday (train and plane schedules into/from Inverness just didn't match up, so I had to stay over). The address is 13 Denny St, tel: 01463 239498. It was £35 for a single, the rooms are lovely, and choice of breakfast was excellent. Its on a small, quiet street about 5 min walk from the train station...lots of other little B&Bs up that area, too.
Good luck, Fran. I hope you find some place you like. :)

fran .
don't know if its any use but , i was at a union course in inverness last week and the rep from glasgow stayed at the weatherspoons in the town centre. he said it was very reasonable and it only cost him £1.50 for his breakfast(he didnt mention the price of the room , but did say it was cheap)
we once stayed in a b&b in kenneth street a couple of years ago had a 4 or 5 course breakfast (served kippers yummy!!) and was a friendly couple that owned it, only cost £18 each then, they have a waterbed too, that room was booked when we went down :~( , think it was called glenrossie guest house 01463 224548 in yellow pages....
