View Full Version : Professional Valuation ?
I have a "Gold, Victorian, full Sovereign" (1887).
It has been "attached" to an 18 carat gold, 24 inch chain.
I am wondering if anyone can give me a guide as to it's valuation ?
This item will not be for sale. Thanks !
Hasn't it got a value written on it?

A jeweller or coin specialist should be able to tell you. You can either have a proper valuation, which is chargeable, and you should get a certificate. Or you could just ask for a rough idea of value, which shouldn't normally cost anything!
If you have the date and know which "head" Version is on it you can get a easy valuationfor the coin by typing gold soverigns valuation into a google search. The chain might have to go by weight!
