I have a great respect for the man, he is not afraid to speak his mind and not afraid of the "PC" brigade unlike most. I wish him a speedy recovery and best wishes.

I do feel that he jumped the NHS waiting list to get his blockage done, I know folk in Caithness who have had to wait much longer and never made the news headlines either.
We are all equal and all in this together....Aye right!!!!

Wish him all the best.
He has done extremely well as companion to HM the Queen, a few blunders but who is perfect?
If they sent in Keith Chegwin I would love to be around to here/see HRHs words and actions!

I really really do hope he gets well....
We've already got a Jubilee to contend with this year, last thing we need is a state funeral to endure also...

They finally worked out what the pain in his chest was. His heart miraculously started beating against after laying dormant for so long.

I hope he gets well enough to rejoin the rest of his family soon.
I can't help but feel a bit sorry for the old duffer. It couldn't have been much fun giving up his career in the navy to act as escort to the Queen. He might well have enjoyed lots of foreign travel, had grand houses to live in, decent motors to gad about in but most of life's decisions would not have been his to make.
My wish for him would be peace and contentment at a duty dilligently done.

most of life's decisions would not have been his to make.

How would that have been any different from being in the navy?

I wish him well x

The poor old boy did not ask to be in this position, fate delivers us to many varied facets of life - did we ask to be born as bog-standard human beings who can't say a good word for our Nick the Greek, may he soon fully recover..

Must go, got family here, can't spend time viewing posts!
