Just now Mr Cp is down at his parents laying a laminated floor. All was going to plan, floor finished last night, skirting on,furnisher back in place and then this morning the door wouldn't close.
On inspection a radiator had sprung a leek and had warped the floor. The heating had been turned off while he was doing the room and not turned back So today has been spent redoing the floor .Luckily there was a spare pack left that could be used.
Now everything else is out the window ,so to speak and It'll be late tomorrow night before he's back.:~(
Anybody else suffer like this:eek:

Rule 1. If it can go wrong then it will go wrong.
Rule 2. If it can't possibly go wrong then it will definitely find a way to go wrong anyway.
Rule 3. Never be fooled into thinking you have beaten Rules 1 and 2, they are just biding their time until the more inconvenient moment to get you.

Don't worry. You know how they say things happen in 3's? Well we're just waiting for the third!!

First, after spending a fortune on house extensions - leaving next to nothing in reserve - our hot water tank sprung a leak. No damage (just borrowed a dehumidifier to sook up the leak) but the tank had to be replaced. KER-CHING and £320 from our emergency/holiday fund flew out of the window :~( ...

Then a few days ago our tumble dryer started making horrible grunging noises. Our friendly repair man came out and decided it was beyond repair. KER-CHING and another £160 went bye-bye's on a new one.

Oh what next??? [evil]

Laid lamenated flooring..no heating on.Now we have a mountain to climb before we get to the living room.Waiting for the skirting to go back on,might sort it out.

Oor floorboards are chipboard,so waited to see the effect the fire would have on them. The joys of water vapour!!!![evil]
