Lost connection

Hi, I have lost internet connection on my laptop , tried to get reconnected but no luck, it says wireless communication is disabled please turn on wireless communication switch , havent got a clue where the switch is or how to do it thanks for any help .

Knowing the make and model of the laptop would help, but first check for anything that looks sort of like

If it's its own separate button press it (usually near the power button), if it's a switch turn it on (usually on the sides). If it's on one of the keyboard keys, hold download the FN key (usually somewhere in the bottom left of the keyboard) and then tap the wireless key.
