Acer aspire laptop wont switch on, can anyone help

it could be a number of thing's. Is the battery charged?? is you power pack correctly plugged in?? these are the obvious things to check before going into major checking

prob the bat pack has gone south?

try it without the bat pack in

Or the mains lead is defective.

All these suggestions have been tried, its going back for repair, as it only 4 weeks old. I was looking for a simple solution.

Have you tried switching it on by pressing the media direct button(little button near the on/off button)?
If it was switched off by using that button by mistake it could be that.
