Council tax bills in the Highlands could rise by 2.5% next year.
The authority is considering a revenue budget of £509m assuming there is an increase of £28 - which would mean an annual payment of £1,163 at Band D.

So folks, what do you think?
I think we will just have to pay up and be grateful that the services are there! ;)
Theres nothing you can do about these things, you have to pay no matter what. Everyone said about sticking together and rebelling against the poll tax but no one did. If everyone said no to the rise then i dont know but maybe they wouldnt put it up. Im not up to scratch with this sort of thing. Jan x
