what a very clear pic, it is so fascinating to see it on the screen, my 12 week scan was very clear, i had my 22 week scan last week and you cant get a clear one, i think it is fascinating on how quickly the baby develops, mines has both sets of teeth already!!!

It's a wee astronaut.[lol]
Do you really have to go all the way down to Raigmore for a scan?
Congrats btw, and I hope all goes well.
have to go to raigmore for everything *grins* just for extra care as im diabetic.. and having the baby down there.. but it is annoying to take a 41/2 drive for a 30 min scan *groans*
but a healthy baby is worth it!
Aha, ok. Are diapers cheaper in the Tesco next to Raigmore? :)
(I can smuggle the name of a supermarket into any thread!)
they are not a bad price much the same as in lidls..
gave up on name brands and just buy lidls or tescos nappies *G*
but def cheaper that their other competitors!
you cheeky thing!

Do you really have to go all the way down to Raigmore for a scan?
My wife and I had to go down to Raigmore for our 8 week old's hip scan last week.
The scan machines that we have at Caithness General, are the same as the portable scanners they use on the wards down in Raigmore. The dedicated scan units have far more sophisticated scanners than we have up here.
The real scandal is though that Caithness General doesn't have a paediatric unit at all, so if our little boy gets fairly sick, (touch wood!) it's off down to Raigmore!:(
(spent a month down there leading up to the birth of our son....so we're pretty sick of the place! LOL)
......But back to the reason for the thread! LOL
CONGRATULATIONS BRANDY!!
WHat a fine wee baby you have there, Brandy, best of wishes!! :D

Re Tesco nappies, I read a recommendation in a baby mag, bought them for my wee man and have used them ever since. Hopefully he will be out of nappies soon...
P.S. I had two boys and half hoped for a wee girl but got a third boy....no more for me though....

Congratulations Brandy.Glad to hear all is well with the baby.
I am nearly 37 weeks pregnant with my first child and it seems like so long ago since i had a scan. I would have loved to have another scan after my 20 week one just to see the baby again. NEver mind it wont be long untill i finally meet my baby! 3 weeks and 2 days to go!!
