View Full Version : What pets/animals do you have ?
As ive just feed my pets i was just wondering what you all had at home? We have 2 labs who used to be very good gun dogs, but are to old now, a spoilt poodle, a bulldog, 1 cat, a ring-neck parakeet, and an African grey parrot who can talk for England. Since 1976 we've had our own home and have always had pets about. what have you got ?
not got any pets at the moment.......I'm Mrs G's beeg pet tho[lol]
A collie x staffy who is spoilt and 2 fish. Used to have a cat, but it moved to the neighbours house - I kept taking it home and it kept going back, so they kept her. She had a horrible attitude when staying with me, but was instantly nicer at the neighbours - the difference was unreal, so she's a lot happier where she is. My dog doesn't like cats (the cat moved out before he appeared) so we can't get anymore cats at the moment :(

Just a spoilt collie dog here - as we always say he's our first born son and hair, due to his constant molting [lol] !
He was our first baby, back when we were courting, so my is his nose out of joint with the arrival of the WeeBurdies :eek: .

We have a one year old Weimerenar. He's a little spoilt but thats what theyre for right? Also have 5 fish and today I collect a budgie! Just know its going to be hours of endless fun! lol .

Proud mum to 2 dogs (choccy lab, 10 years and labradoodle, 5 months) 3 cats (1@ 16 & 2 @ 8years), goldfish (10 years) and two horrible teenagers!
Black lab, goldfish and far too many stick insects!

I have............3 springer spaniels (8 years, 5 years & 6 months all boys), 1 collie (3 years, girl, big fluffy soft lump, loves getting her lugs rubbed!) and a springer/collie cross (4 years, girl), 3 feral cats who live in the barn, 2 Shetland ponies (full of cheek), a British Alpine goat, 3 ducks and 5 chickens, a husband (last on the list!), oh and looking for a couple of pygmy goats to add to the chaos!

One very old cat who keeps the children at her mercy.
She is a wild cat who before bad weather turns up and sleeps on mat.
Very wise old cat.
a 4 yr old " burmese blue" we got from balmore - he's spoilt rotten
I've got 3 bunnies and a goldfish but I'd like a dog especially a Labradoodle.
2 cats a fat lump of a male Tabby called Angel (Inappropriately named) who loves getting his belly tickled and a black cat called Fearn who is cuddly but only on her terms, she does not like children especially my toddler. Oh yeah and a husband, and 3 children.

We have a very spoiled collie x.....and some fish, but as they're for tea I don't suppose I can count them!!!;)

He scratched at the door, the same time the dog was killed the week before, walked in and stayed.
Apparently he was a stray cat from Wester.
Couldn't be without him now. still looking for a replacement siamese cat.

At the moment 3 dogs (a 4 year old lurcher, a 9 year old salouki and a year old siberian husky pup) a throughbred X cleveland bay horse, hubby, two step kids and baby due on 13/11/06.
I had a Throughbred x cleveland bay horse called Raj ( Indian ruler ) and what a horse he was aswell, used to be an x hunter, side saddle and always was the lead horse in the town carnival. Hes in retirement now living with about 40 other old nags. Jan x

Have to say that this is a point in time when we actually have the least amount of animals we've ever had.
We have 1 Great dane (Bailey Wailey woo woo - he's sooo sweet) 2 GSDs, 1 yorkie terrier, loads of koi and goldfish, 6 cats (2 of which are recent additions from cat protection), 3 buzzards, 1 barn owl and 2 Eagle owls.
We are owned by a 5yr old working cocker spaniel...called Moss , the boy can be seen in pets gallery...he's very clever and can fetch all his toys by there name!.... he loves digging holes on Scrabster beach:) and he barks at low flying jets!
two cats, two teenagers and 1 husband. only the teenagers are not housetrained.

No pets the kids would never give them a momments peace.Papa and granny have one dog and one cat for the kids to play with when they visit thats as near to having a pet as they are going to ever get.

1 dug, currently curled up on the couch at his masters feet. Very well behaved.
2x fish that the dug hates. Pretty boring really

Golach, i used to like you.
am away to kick Mr Caithness Import off the couch to bath the baby, that'll get him busy.
as for pets, the fish are very pretty, Caithness Import wanted baby trout and i insisted we get tropical fish. he only wanted trout so he could grow them bigger and come home from the pub and have fun. whats the phrase 'like shooting fish in a barrel'
We have one dog, 2 cats, a love bird, a ferret, indoor fish and outdoor fish and about 6 feral cats that have adopted us!!!!!! Oh and planning another puppy at end o year!!!

A long haired collie bitch who came to stay when she was 9months old.We were the 2nd family that tried to give her a home and now after 9years I think she rather likes it here.Spoilt Rotten should be her name.:lol:

We have 4 doggies - 2 Springer Spaniel boys - Tom & Jerry, and 2 Boxer girls - Lolly & Ziggy. And a Rabbit. They are all a bit spoiled, but we prefer to call it loved!!

My Springer likes body surfing - he'd only been down the beach once and learned to ride the waves and to jump over them to avoid getting wet. He loves the sea!!

I have.... a golden retreiver, a cat (thats just had 4 kittens), a budgie (had 2 budgies, but 1 died last week :( ), and a horse. And if you ask me they are the best companions of all!! :cool:

At present i have:- 3 dogs aspringer, an old english sheepdog and a choco lab, 1 cockateil, 1 african grey parrot, 2 tanks of tropical fish, 1 guinea pig, 2 rabbits( 3 more coming soon) 1 little shetland pony(coming next couple weeks) and 8 pedigree cats and 11 moggies and several kittens that im fostering for the cats protection and 1 bairn and 1 husband!!
We have 2 dogs, a hampster, a big bird, tortoise, tropical fish and enough chaos to drive anyone mad! and No 'buggy racer' definatly no room for another pup!

I have one Shetland Sheepdog called Benjy and four cats who are Rusty (12 year old ginger); Charly (12 year old ginger and white); Tiggy (10 year old grey and white) and Suzy (five year old tortie).
They are all totally spoiled and quite rightly as they are the lights of my life!:lol:
Also have a couple of feral cats who come for food every night and have outside shelters for them.
Used to have a lot more pets when I was younger including hamsters; mice; budgies;cockatiels; rabbits; guinea pigs; ducks and chickens.
Even had an orphaned lamb in our garden at one time.
I geriatric cat...aproximately 22 years owld and now deaf ..nearly as grumpy as golach an tank full of tropical fish and about 40 sparrows who nest in the ivy on the gable end.

I have Lola & Kruger, 2 year old Rhodesian Ridgebacks. 10 black & white cows (that followed me home) and a giraffe. Unfortunately the cows and giraffe are stuffed. But I wish they were real. As for the dogs, well they are not stuffed, but they might be one day. Dave has 3 semi's. "Alley Cat" (Kenworth 401) "Kelvinator" (Kenworth with no heater), and "Wrong Answer" (Ford Aeromax).
Two cats, one is 12 years old and the other is 8 years. Three pedigree rabbits, and another one arriving at the end of the month. Thats all at the moment.

Not at all! Just keep washing the blankets on his bed! I get my supplies from the charity shops and he gets a shower everytime he comes back from the beach.
We spent about two and a half hours on Thurso beach today; Ben did not want to come out of the water. He had plenty of company as there were quite a few surfers out there.
