Please place a vote for us for the Royal Bank of Scotland's CommunityForce Project Fund
What is our Project?
Redevelopment of community waste land beside Naver All Weather pitch, creating a home ground for our club and other local groups in Caithness to use. Creating 3 - 4 football pitches, a community sports hub and a street football arena for the general public to use as they wish
What does our charity/project do?Thurso Youth FC provides coaching sessions to children in the community from the early ages of 4 years old to 16 year old. This allows them to have a grasp of the sport which in time turns them into stars of the future. Recently achieved a recognised award by the SFA. "Quality Mark - Standard level" and currently in the process towards the next level. This shows we are committed in providing the best in football coaching to youth groups including the clubs development.
How does our charity/project support the local community?The unused ground once developed will be used by all youth groups within the community to be able to use the premises/grounds anytime they wish without the hard rental costs. Not just the use for our organisation.
What do you plan to use the CommunityForce award for?This will be a contribution towards reaching our goal for the total amount which will then be matched by sport scotland. Once the total fund is achieved, we will start progressing our development. which includes ground maintenance, changing accomodation, lighting for the units, 11 & 7 aside football goals.
Remember the more votes the club gets the more chance of winning the £6,000 prize fund for the area.
