Weather for Relay for Life tommorrow

What is the weather supposed to be like for Saturday and Sunday for the relay for life?

Watched 3 different channels and got 3 different forecasts!!!!

So does anyone know what the caithness forecast is hoping it stays dry for the walkers

And good luck to all that are taking part

The forecat was for heavy rain later tomorrow night and most of Sunday.

Not looking like a great sunday for any of us :( howling hooligans and lots of the wet stuff to go with it too! saturday is not looking too bad, but a good caithness drying day could easily turn into a chase your trampoline day with the slightest shift of the low pressure system - the border line really is in the middle of the Pentland Firth!


Update - the wind has crept up from yesterdays charts and is hitting earlier, you ones doing relay for life need to be aware of high winds from the N or NNW from late saturday night peaking about 6am sunday morning! looking like gusting around 50 - 55mph now

I don't mean to be disparaging, but those that have to deal with the effects of cancer must find it a teensy bit harder than having to deal with a bit of rain and otherwise crap weather whilst going for a walk!

You really should get to know all the facts before you open your mouth. As usual you just spout off about things you have no knowledge of.

The strong winds will stop some of the planned events especially the one that is planned on Stroma, If the wind gets up as per forecast then it would not be safe to go by boat to Stroma so this even would have to be cancelled.
