The “Sacra Infermeria” of the Order of St John,Valletta.
Now popularly known as the Mediterranean Conference Centre. What used to be the main hospital ward, measuring 151 metres, provided about 900 beds for male patients who included knights, soldiers, sailors and foreigners from 1574, is now used as "the lobby" when conferences are in session.

Its either Merchant Street or Republic Street.Strait Street is much narrower and is mainly paved and pedestrian only(i think).
Was trying to I.D it from the church/building with the spire in the distance but failed so i've posted it on a Malta photo forum asking for I.D so hopefully i'll have the answer soon.
The Festa Street shots are the same, either Merchant or Republic Street.

Nice set MPH. (especially No.1) My father used to work there so me and my brother & sister were shipped out for 4 to 5 weeks during the summer holidays when I was about between 15 to 18 (4 years running). Good to see the old place again. Brings back lots of memories.
