Unblocking a 3 mobile?

Got a 3 (three.co.uk) mobile, don't want to use their 3 sim as their coverage is diabolical (we travel a lot within UK), want to put in my 02 sim - rang 3 and they want £15 to unblock so I can use my 02.. is there anywhere up here that does unblocking, or is Inverness the nearest?

for a small fee there are websites that do it
or if you have the lead
then a search of mobile forums will easily give your the software to do it yourself FOC
