I've updated this thread in the Photography forum, but in case any Orgers have missed this ...
Science O3, which runs the annual Caithness International Science Festival, is holding a photography competition, based on next year's Festival theme of "Energy in Caithness". We've received some excellent entries so far and the competition is open until September 2, 2011.
As the competition is also open to children (and with still two weeks of school holidays to run!), perhaps some young photographers out there might like to get snapping and submit an entry.
There is a £100 cash prize for the over 18 winner, whilst our P1 - P4, P5 - P7 and 11-18 years winners will receive an hour's photography tutorial with award-winning photographer John Baikie. Entries can be submitted by email to [email protected] or by mail to KP Technology, 12A Burn Street, Wick, KW1 5EH.
More details can be found on the Science O3 website at http://www.science03.org/index.html.
