hi folks, i know i requested this last year,
and although i got an amazing responce from you generous orgers out there i was unable to collect the plants i was offered as i wasn't driving and my partner was working away and when he was home was always busy

but this year i am driving myself :)

so here goes.....

looking for mainly shrubs, trees, hedging, fushia, red hot pokers and wind hardy plants
fruit bushes also! (i have started a wee wild area with fruit bushes, rhubarb etc)
they need to be big enough that the grass wont swamp the poor things, but small enough to fit in a car boot as i cannot pull a trailer.

if you think you might have something you no longer want that i could use, please let me know!

thanks folks

I'll ask my future MIL - she's trimming back her wildly overgrown garden. wrong time of year for transplanting but better to transfer what is pulled up than to burn it :(

thank you leanne, much appreciated.
yeah, not a great time of year for transplanting, but quite a good time for folk working in their gardens and getting rid/replacing unwanted plants etc.
as you say, its a shame to throw away something living when it can find a new home :)

desperate for this "field" to become a garden lol
have bought a lot of plants, but theres a huge border to fill and lots of space.
i love pottering in the garden, and have great plans but plants are so expensive it can't be all done at once :(
